Accounts Manager

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Manager for our Lahore-based HITC Pakistan Office. The role involves managing bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance, project accounting, and e-commerce inventory for our Website & Software Development and Amazon/eBay departments. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records in Excel and Odoo ERP, ensure compliance with tax laws, manage project budgets, and handle documentation and contract management. This position reports to the General Manager (Pakistan Operations).

Specific Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Odoo ERP or similar financial software

  • Knowledge of FBR and PRA tax regulations

  • Familiarity with project accounting and cost tracking

  • Good documentation, coordination, and communicatio

Responsible For

1. Bookkeeping & Financial Management

  • Record and categorize daily transactions using Excel and Odoo ERP

  • Track receivables, payables, sales, purchases, and general ledgers

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations

2. Tax Compliance

  • Compile data and prepare documentation for:

    • Monthly Sales Tax Returns (FBR & PRA)

    • Annual Income Tax Return

  • Liaise with tax consultants and authorities when required

3. Project Accounting & Budgeting

  • Maintain budget and cost tracking for software and website development projects

  • Monitor project cash flows, vendor payments, and internal cost allocations

  • Assist in pricing and cost analysis for ongoing and upcoming projects

4. E-Commerce Inventory Management

  • Maintain real-time inventory records for Amazon and eBay using Excel

  • Reconcile monthly sales and stock consumption data

5. Document & Contract Management

  • Maintain a secure database for employee contracts, legal documentation, and personal records

  • Draft, review, and file employment contracts and business agreements

  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and confidential

Additional Requirements
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting roles

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in tech or e-commerce industries
