Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with Gulf experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and expertise in managing Gulf taxation compliance and related financial activities.
Specific Skills
- Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience in Gulf countries.
- Proficiency in Gulf taxation laws, including VAT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Experience in managing cross-border financial operations.
Responsible For
- Taxation Compliance:
- Handle Gulf-region VAT, tax returns, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure accurate filing and adherence to Gulf-specific tax laws and regulations.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain financial accuracy.
- Accounts Management:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and provide solutions to issues.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage budgets for Gulf operations.
- Analyze financial performance to provide forecasts and insights.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated with Gulf and international accounting standards.
- Ensure financial practices align with legal requirements.
- Analytical Support:
- Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and improve financial performance.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and cost reductions.
